Preparing your DVD Slideshow

To begin, gather the photos you would like included in your DVD Slideshow and organize them in order from start to finish.

Numbering Your Photos

Number each photo, if possible, to ensure proper ordering is maintained for your DVD Slideshow. An easy method is to use sticky notes on the backs of each photograph. Digamation does not recommend writing directly on a photograph.

Pick your Music

Pick your music and write it down in the order you would like it played for your DVD Slideshow. Some want the music to start on a specific picture so just indicate that information along with the album and track title.

Choosing Captions

Typical slideshows have one caption to introduce the video as well as end it. Additional captions can be added to introduce a sequence (a group of like photos) or describe a picture. Be creative, just remember to try and keep each caption short and let the photos tell the story.

Once you have come up with the captions write them down and indicate which photograph they should be included with.

Additional Notes

Although not necessary, add any additional notes you may have about your DVD Slideshow.

Pack-it Up

Bundle it all up and ship it to Digamation. Make sure to secure the photos so they don't move around during shipping. Include the photos to be scanned and the the notes regarding your music selection, captions and any additional information for your DVD Slideshow.

DVD Slideshow Production

Once we receive your photographs we begin creating your DVD Slideshow. You will receive email notifications to keep you apprised of our progress. A draft of your movie will be made available to you on the internet for review and comments.

Upon completion Digamation returns to you:

1. Your photographs and original music (if provided)
2. A DVD with disc art and case containing your movie.
3. A DVD or CD and jewel case containing any/all scanned images.
